I have upgraded a clients server from Exchange 2003 STD to Enterprise Edition
by using the re-install option. I have checked the regkey and it still shows
the Standard edition regkey. When I applied the SP2 it only took the
Enterprise edition SP. Any other wasys to check the version?

Hi,

When you start the information store service some events are logged in the
appliaction log. These events tells you if the stores are unlimited or
limited. You can also try to create a new storage group - if this works the
server is upgraded.

Leif,
I was able to create a new storage group. When I run "Microsoft Exchange
Server Best Practices Analyzer Tool" it still reports the Standard Edition
not Enterprise. Why would that be? Also exchange is not installed ob the C
partition which the Analyzer complained about. Any ideas?

Hi,

No idea why the exbpa would tell you that the server is a standard server.
What does the ESM say when you look in the servers folder?

I have not seen exbpa complain about exchange not been installed on the C
drive - most of my installations are on a D drive and I get no complaints
(from exbpa :))
